Muckle Meadow (Scots for "Big Meadow") was built in 2023 to offer a modern, insulated base for exploring the Highlands. Positioned at the top of our grounds, it offers a direct line of sight down the Strath, allowing you to watch the weather roll in across the hills from the comfort of a King-size bed.

The Space At 21 square meters, this pod is designed with an open-plan layout that maximizes the view through double glass doors.

• Sleeping: King-size bed with view of the hills.

• Living: Underfloor heating throughout to keep you warm even in deep winter.

• Cooking: A kitchenette equipped for holiday meals (2-ring induction hob, microwave with grill, fridge, kettle, toaster). Please note: There is no full-sized oven.

• Bathing: Private en-suite with walk-in shower, toilet, and washbasin.

The Outdoors The pod opens onto a private timber deck. This is a quiet spot for morning coffee, often visited by our resident red squirrels and deer. While we are in a rural setting, fast WiFi is provided for planning your next day's route.

Important Access Information To maximize the view, this pod is set high on the slope. Access is via a 60-metre grass path from the parking area. We strongly recommend bringing soft holdalls or backpacks rather than heavy wheeled suitcases, as these can be difficult to drag up the incline.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 15 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 15 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
